Black Eyed Pea And Greens Soup

This recipe was inspired by a soup I had at B.Smith's restaurant in NYC for Thanksgiving. I knew I was going to recreate at, so I did some searching and found a recipe on Eating Well. With a few changes, we have a winner!

2 cans of Chicken/Vegetable Broth
1 can of black eyed peas (do not drain) (I would up this to two cans next time)
2 cups of Mirepoix (onion, carrot, celery)
4 garlic cloves
4 cups of greens (collard or kale)
1 can of diced tomatoes
2 tsp of Cajun seasoning
