I can not even use light cream when cooking or baking. It would use up Bob's allowed cholesterol amount for the week. Instead I always use olive oil or flour to help thicken sauces. Today I found FAT FREE half and half. I am making Tarragon Chicken in a brandy cream sauce for dinner, can't wait to see how it works out. Wanted to let you guys know if you are looking for ways to cut down calories, the half and half might be the way to go, especially if you drink a lot of coffee.
