Grilled Mushrooms

I had a party of 7 for a cookout this Saturday. We managed to enjoy the day between rain drops. It was a five hour reprieve from the heavens. I cooked marinated steak tips, and did my version of macaroni salad and coleslaw. They are a basic meat and potato type family, so this suited them. I think any type of steak on the grill deserve mushrooms, it just makes it that much better. You can also add these mushrooms to top off any salad. This Vinaigrette I found at Stop and Shop. It is all natural and extremely tasty. This might be my new favorite flavor of the month. You have got to try it, the flavors are terrific, and you do not need to use much, go easy.

Grilled Mushrooms

1/2 lb Shiitake mushrooms, remove stems
1/2 lb Portabella mushrooms thickly sliced

Or use a pound of your favorite mushroom as long as they are of the large variety

Your favorite marinate, I used Mrs. Talbot's Asian Sesame Vinaigrette

Put mushrooms in a large bowl, add some dressing and toss until coated. Don't over dress !!!
Grill about 3 min on each side and serve hot.
