Blueberry Smoothie

As soon as the sun appeared in the sky today and spring suggested itself, I began to crave a smoothie. I never eat fruit in the winter, not even a banana. But my body starts wanting something cold and delicious once the warmer weather sets in. So today I made a quick blueberry smoothie. It made about 3 full glasses.

  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 lb of frozen blueberries
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 4 big spoonfuls of plain yogurt, or about a 1/4 of the larger container.
  • 3 T sugar

I blended in a blender until…smooth. Next time I would halve this, as I made way too much. But the proportions were just right.
