Mrs Verdery's Fudge Pie

This is my grandmother's recipe, and it's a glorious sort of fudge-thing. It's most famous appearance was when I was born; Grandma brought my mother this pie to the hospital and mom ate the entire thing in one go. She had earned it. This is another Southern classic. I'm gettiing it off a faded index card so pardon the eccentric and spare method.

Melt together:
6 tbs cocoa powder
1 stick plus 2 tbs butter

Combine and beat well:
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tbs flour
1/4 tsp salt

Add to chocolate mixture with 1 tsp vanilla. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
