Dorie Greenspan's Baking: From My Home to Yours
So. I posted a few days ago about The Bread Baker's Apprentice Challenge, right? You get the book (worth it!) then bake your way weekly through each recipe to the end. Fun.

Indian Recipe Book Suggestions
Hello all. I believe it is time for me to invest in a good Indian recipe book, but I'm not sure where to turn. The book does not have to be vegetarian. I already have Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian (although not an Indian recipe book), so I'd be happy to try someone else.

The Bon Appetit Fast Easy Fresh Cookbook
First I must say the the Original Bon Appetit Cookbook is a treasure. I once cooked my way through the Soup chapter and almost every single one was fabulous.

The Bread Baker's Apprentice Challenge
I'm not sure if you guys have seen Peter Reinhart's amazing new book The Bread Baker's Apprentice, but it's really incredible! Isaac and I went to the B&N a few weeks ago and, before buying him a new Dr Seuss ABC book, I slobbered all over TBBA. Well, for Mother's Day, it arrived in the mail! (By the way, Isaac is far more interested in eating his books than eating bread - we may need a new copy of Brown Bear, Brown Bear in the near future.)
